SKMCA - Annual Report

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman (SKMCA) is a key healthcare provider for the citizens of Ajman and Masfoot under the office of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs. They approached us with the idea to create an engaging corporate storybook annual to celebrate their various achievements, milestones, and completed projects.

Comprising of four Hospitals, four Centres of Excellence and numerous Departments, it was an extensive project whereby Maek Design developed the key storytelling concepts and design components.

With SKMCA being steered by the private Swedish company, GHP Specialty Care, we wanted the look and feel of the annual to be inclusive of Scandinavian design elements, giving a subtle nod to SKMCA’s Swedish collaboration.

Copy creation and development was an integral part of the project with meticulous care taken to cross-check all information and statistics with relevant departmental heads throughout the process to ensure accuracy. We also worked in tandem with a dedicated SKMCA point person to find the right professional tone and intrinsic storytelling ingredients to hit the right note with both investors and potential patients.

To date, Maek has successfully completed two storybooks for 2017 and 2018.
